Hi,

I suppose we can rely on the fact that the shell used for pkgsrc knows
about %/%% and #/## for parameter expansion? This is already used in
some places like mk/checksum/checksum.
This implies that eg on Solaris /bin/sh is not sufficient. I do not know
about the capabilities of shells on other systems.
