It's not a big deal, but I think your original use of PKGREVISION was
correct.  It's normal to install things from wip, and I see no harm in
the real pkgsrc version having the same PKGREVISION as the last wip
package, or +1 if it's different.  We aren't going to run out of numbers
and I don't see any valid purity argument.  Users are not well served by
version numbers going backwards
