I took a look at the math and misc categories, and
there are at least 14 packages that really don't
belong there and should be put in a science category:
math/blitz++
math/grace
math/gsl
math/py-Scientific
math/py-Scientific-doc
math/ruby-gsl
math/scilab
math/snns
math/udunits
misc/celestia
misc/gperiodic
misc/libquantum
misc/molden
misc/stellarium

I added the following packages in wip under the math
category, but they are really scientific packages:
wip/aida
wip/clhep
wip/geant

and I'm sure there are more scientific packages in
wip, so it doesn't sound like a bad idea to add a
"science" category to pkgsrc.

Saludos
