Hi,

I cant get wine to work, i know it was only just updated but its the same
problem i and others have been having with prior versions.

When running winecfg all i get is

bash-3.00$ winecfg
wine: creating configuration directory '/home/mark/.wine'...

it just sits there eating memory and cpu. If i kill it and try again it just
creates another .wine-* directory. Killing it and renaming the directory
to .wine doesnt work either.

Has anybody got a recent version of wine to work?

Im running 3.99.10 i386

thanks

mark
