The reason this check fails (I think) is related to a recent thread in
the netbsd-current mailing list having to do with <sys/endian.h>.

I posted a question about this firefox error, but so far my post hasn't
appeared on the mailing list.  I'll try again in awhile if it doesn't
appear.
