If you mean the same text viewable here:

then I'm not sure what you mean by "uncommented". It is not verbosely
commented, but it does explain what's going on. To understand what's
going on (and what pkgsrc is all about) really requires some familiarity
with the main text of the Guide. But I *have* pointed folks directly to
Appendix A to help them understand that pkgsrc can be understood (and
used) by mere mortals.

So my vote is to keep it (especially since it is the only example there
is at the moment).
