Hello List,

I'm trying to build the mysql server (4 or 5) from pkgsrc under linux.
But I need help. I can compile and install it without any problems (all 3
three versions) but I can't start the mysql server. 
I'm using "mysql.server start" or the example rc.d script "mysql start" but
both fail. Any Ideas how I can get it working ?
