Thanks a lot Todd.
I have successfully installed a bunch of binaries and also compiled some
stuff including guile. I know you must be busy, -- just wondering what
the status of openssh/openssl is?
Also since my goal is to get ledger (ledger.sourceforge.net) running.
(This is a command line accounting tool), and maybe if possible???...
Gnucash. Has anyone done that yet?
In the mean time, opensp is causing me the undefined reference below. I
hope you don't mind dealing with a guy who knows just enough to get
himself in trouble. At least it may help others as well. -- thanks.
Making all in nsgmls
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=3Dlink c++ -O -I/usr/pkg/include =

sEventHandler.o RastEventHandler.o StringSet.o nsgmls_inst.o
-lpthread -lintl -liconv -lsocket
c++ -O -I/usr/pkgsrc/textproc/opensp/work/.buildlink/include
-o .libs/onsgmls nsgmls.o SgmlsEventHandler.o RastEventHandler.o
/usr/pkgsrc/textproc/opensp/work/.buildlink/lib/libintl.so -lc /u

Hm, they're building fine for me here, after some fixes I did last week.
One of the problems revolves around issues in WinXP SP2 and Win2003 SP1,
which can be fixed by applying the hotfixes I recommend on the following
Because these hotfixes are now more-or-less required for proper gcc
operation on Interix, I will be putting this URL into the
Interix-specific portion of the pkgsrc Guide and README.
I plan to do a partial upload of binary packages tonight, which will
take a while to get there (mmm, really biased asymmetric DSL). However,
perl, gettext, and libiconv will be part of the upload.
