Is there any way to disable kerberos?

When I started to compile kdelibs3 I saw this:

The following variables will affect the build process of this package,
kdelibs-3.4.2nb1. Their current value is shown below:

        * BDBBASE (defined)
	* BDB_TYPE = db1
	* KRB5BASE (defined)
	* KRB5_TYPE = heimdal
	* SSLBASE (defined)

I am not using Kerberos, nor do I want it. How do I turn this off?

On an aside, how does it determine Heimdal? DragonFly has Heimdal 0.6.3 in
the source tree.

Cheers,
