Heh, that's funny, there was a PR about this just yesterday.  On the
same platform even, although it is nothing specific to macppc.

Granted, pcre is slightly broken in the sense that it will include all
the type_trits.h it will find in configure, from the assumption that it
will ony find one (either the gcc 2.95 one, or the gcc 3/4 one).

The real issue, though, is that you didn't run
'postinstall fix obsolete' when you upgraded from 1.6 to 2.0.
