Seems it's using ai_oss.c.
It looks like a problem in mplayer itself, because the configure
script gets the correct option for disabling oss.

I'm not interested enough in fixing this. If you provide
patches, I'll commit them. Perhaps we should remove the
oss option for now and include the oss bl3.mk file by default?

Perhaps the mplayer authors will fix the bug if you report it
to them.
