  You can acomplish that with the standard fetch target:

DISTFILES=	file1 file2 file3 file4
SITES_file1=	path/to/file1
SITES_file2=	path/to/file2
SITES_file3=	path/to/file3
SITES_file4=	path/to/file4

: [cd fails]
