Hello.

On a NetBSD/i386-2.0.2, with apache-2.0.54nb1 and php-5.0.4 installed, if I
install and enable the archivers/php-zlib all I get is garbage as response:
the correct HTTP headers are not sent.
On the other side, if I hack the Makefile.php to compile the zlib as builtin
instead of module, I get the expected behaviour.

For me, this problem is there since... well, PHP 4.3.some, IIRC. The
workaround back then was a
PHP4_CONFIGURE_ARGS= --with-zlib
in /etc/mk.conf.

Questions are as follows:
1) Is there an equivalent mk.conf option with lang/php5?
2) Am I the only one having this issue?
3) Has anyone installed and used archivers/php-zlib with success?

Thanks for the attention! :)
