I've thinking about this (please see "Master sites randomization" topic
on tech-pkg@ inbetween 11..13 June).

IMHO at this moment to smooth bootstrap tools upgrade we lack such
important feature, as tools versioning. For example, what version of /
bin/ls you're running (if you use NetBSD)? I hope I'll post my ideas
on this in near future.

Of course, your fresh ideas would be much helpful here.
