Subject: get rid of xpkgwedge when using xorg or XFree86 from pkgsrc?

Is xpkgwedge needed if using pkgsrc/xorg-imake or pkgsrc/x11/imake?

Can we make pkgsrc/xorg-imake so xpkgwedge is not needed if USE_XPKGWEDGE
is yes?

Will this break xorg-* package installs? (Maybe a replacement xmkmf could
be used just for them?)

I have systems where only X is installed from pkgsrc. I am thinking that
the workarounds suggested in pkgtools/xpkgwedge/MESSAGE and the pkgxmkmf
and xpkgwedge.def would not be needed.
