It turns out the warning messages are a result of FreeTDS (which I'm
using to connect to the database) not supporting some functionality in
DBD-Sybase. The warnings can be turned off by removing the messages
from dbdimp.c.

What all this means for getting pgksrc updated with the latest version
of DBD-Sybase I have no idea.

Not sure if this is the right place or not - feel free to redirect.

The latest pkgsrc has databases/p5-DBD-Sybase which is version 0.94.
After modifying the linker lines in Makefile.PL I can get this installed
and it runs a simple test just fine.

The latest version of DBD-Sybase is 1.05. If I install that (after
making the same linker changes) the test program outputs these lines but
still produces results.

cs_diag(CS_INIT) failed at
/usr/pkg/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i386-netbsd-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line
253.

cs_config(CS_LOC_PROP) failed at
/usr/pkg/lib/perl5/5.8.6/i386-netbsd-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line
253.

Running NetBSD 2.0.

Any ideas?

- Alan
