A wrapper for a manpage could use the ROFF ".so" request macro.

I don't know if it works everywhere, but I think it might, like:

.so man1/vim.1

Here's an example from a Mac OS X box:

$ cat /usr/share/man/man3/snmp_open.3
.so man3/snmp_api.3
