[CC'd tech-pkg as this is a solution]

Recap: using Firefox with password-remembrance brings up an empty
dialog in addition to the normal password dialog.

Looking at these Firefox PRs again, they've been marked as duplicates of:

    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228261

Reading through it, there's a comment (#2) from Brian Ryner (to
whom 246976 and 249940 have been assigned) saying to:

  1. remove components/libwallet.so from the Firefox installation
  2. remove compreg.dat and xpti.dat from your .mozilla/* profile

I've done that and this appears to have fixed the problem.

There are some queries to 228261 asking why this library is installed.

Brian.
