Good day,

I bootstrapped pkgsrc on Slackware 10.0 and installed security/openssh.
After starting it and "ssh localhost", I am unable to log in with my own
password.  The error in /var/log/messages is:

Nov 26 06:43:40 ambi sshd[11493]: Failed password for ben from 127.0.0.1 port 32770 ssh2

I am contacting this list because the openssh package MAINTAINER is set
to tech-pkg@NetBSD.org.

What is a good next step for troubleshooting this?
