I don't know.

Maybe ${PREFIX}/share/fonts should be included by default. (That is where
fonts/watanabe_vfont is installed; I don't know if fontconfig can use
that vf* format though.)

Also I wonder if the KDE fonts should have been installed to some standard
font path?

Or to ${PREFIX}/share/fonts/kde? And then if we had ${PREFIX}/share/fonts
included by default then it would have been fine.

Now I am thinking that extra fonts should go to ${PREFIX}/share/fonts
instead of /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts. So I look at how Debian does it ...
And I see that Debian does use usr/share/fonts for many packages.
