Hi,

I've just upgraded kde to the latest from package source, and now i have
keyboard problems.

When typing, a single key press is repeated (as if i were holding the key
down) and it will keep repeating untill i press it again.

If i turn off the keyboard repeat rate via contol panel the problem goes away.

Also shift and caps lock seem to switch states now and then. By this i mean
when caps lock is on kde thinks its off and vice versa.

After a random period of time the keyboard locks and no input is recieved, top
via ssh showed X was using near to 80% CPU.

Fonts seem to look a lot worse when compared to kde 3.2.1.

If i use x with kdm it sets itself to ttyE2 instead of my usuall ttyE4.

Could it be the problem is something to do with my X server. If i run X using
twm and no kde apps running it is ok, i have no keyboard problems and X runs
on ttyE4. If i then start say Kmail after a while the keyboard problems
reappear.

I'm using XFree86 version 4.4.0 from xsrc and am running NetBSD 2.0E.

Has anybody got any ideas or seen something similar?

Thanks

Mark
