 	graphics/gd pulls in freetype and pthreads. graphics/p5-GD then
 	chokes unless perl is threaded. p5-GD will install, but then
 	abort on use. This also shows up as build breakage for p5-GDTextUtil
 	and suchlike.

 	Is there any reason why perl58 should not default to being
 	threaded under NetBSD 2.0?
