I guess that you're talking about mail/clamav, since I can't find
any "Clam" package.

I just did a 'make checksum' for it, and it downloaded the file
from
  http://belnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/clamav/clamav-0.70.tar.gz
successfully, and the checksum matched.

Perhaps you have an incomplete download, try 'make distclean' and
'make checksum'. Or, less likely, your proxy corrupts the file.
Try without one, if possible.
