I was asked to update devel/ddd to the current release (3.3.8). The current=
=20
version in pkgsrc is 3.3.7. I have an update ready to commit.

There is a problem though. DDD does not work correctly with the gdb that's=
=20
part of the NetBSD base system (2.0-BETA and 2.0Eon ix386 tested); this is=
=20
true of both 3.3.7 and 3.3.8. It works correctly with the following gdb's i=
n=20
pkgsrc:
=2D - devel/gdb
=2D - devel/gdb6
=2D -wip/gdbada

Questions: Should I commit the update? Any suggestions on investigating the=
=20
problem with the base system's gdb?
