pkgsrc/devel/libtool-base/Makefile has

# We are going to want libtool to find the same versions of the C, C++,
# and Fortran compilers.
#
USE_LANGUAGES=        c c++ fortran

I don't use fortran and I would assume that most pkgsrc users don't use
fortran (at least for building commonly-used packages).

Can we have an option to not require fortran for libtool-base? Or can be
we remove the fortran?
