It seems you tried to install a NetBSD (/macppc?) package for
daemontools on Mac OS X.  AFAIK there are no binary packages for
Mac OS X, and you cannot install NetBSD packages on Mac OS X. That
is, perhaps you can, but that won't help you since they won't work.
