hi all,

I've started building and uploading Firefox GTK2 nightlies built on
NetBSD/i386 2.0_BETA, the first one being from last night.

in the build chroot, I'm using pkgsrc from 20040425 (just before the
freetype2 update to 2.1.8), so these builds are against freetype2-2.1.5
and gtk2+-2.4.0nb1, but they also run fine on -current with
freetype2-2.1.8 and gtk2+-2.4.1 from the latest pkgsrc.

I have applied just one patch to the official Firefox CVS source from
pkgsrc/www/firefox/patches/patch-br to avoid multiple concurrent DNS
lookups because getaddrinfo() is not thread-safe. this should hopefully
eliminate the problem of hanging in recvfrom() (sometimes often,
sometimes rarely).

anyway, I've updated www/firefox-gtk2-bin-nightly to include the NetBSD
2.0 builds, and the only runtime dependency should be gtk2+>=2.4. I'd
appreciate any feedback about these builds.

grant.
