Subject: amavis-milter on NetBSD - pthread death & core dump

I'm using amavisd-new [p9] and trying to test the amavis-milter daemon
on NetBSD 1.6.2 for eventual inclusion in the pkgsrc collection (it's
wip right now), and coming across the -exact- same condition as
described in this PR regarding mimedefang:

http://www.netbsd.org/cgi-bin/query-pr-single.pl?number=23297

The milter binary dies upon startup and the kdump(1) output is the same
(about "**Pth** SCHEDULER INTERNAL ERROR: no more thread(s) available to
schedule!?!?")

Does this mean amavis-milter also needs a native pthread implementation
and hence will not work on NetBSD 1.x?
