The file TIFFTechNote2.html, downloaded as part of the tiff package, seems
to be affected by line ending conversion during download.

When fetched by nbftp via a direct internet connection, the file ends up
with \n at the end of every line.

When fetched through an HTTP proxy, at least the one I use at work, the
file ends up with \r\n at the end of every line.

Clearly this causes a checksum mismatch, and so the package refuses to
build.

Any ideas on how best to fix this?
