Hi,

regardless if I try to build glib2-devel from wip or glib2
from category devel on my NetBSD 1.6.2 box using pkgsrc
head I get the following error:

| checking for libiconv_open in -liconv... no
| configure: error: *** No iconv() implementation found in C library or libiconv
| *** Error code 1

work/*/config.log says:

| configure:4488: checking for libiconv_open in -liconv
| configure:4519: gcc -o conftest -O2 -I/usr/pkg/include -I/usr/include -I/usr/pkg /include -I/usr/include -L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/lib -Wl,-R/usr/
| lib conftest.c -liconv -lintl >&5
| ld: cannot find -liconv

nm /usr/pkg/lib/libiconv.so | grep libiconv_open says:

| 0000f288 T libiconv_open

So, what the heck is going on here? Everything seems right
to me. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob.
