I brought this up on this list over six months ago.

Is it okay if I modify textproc/groff/files/mdoc.local with sed to do:

On any *BSD, define OS_NAME as "${OPSYS} ${OS_VERSION}"?

On Linux, just use "${OPSYS}" and on other systems maybe just use
"${OPSYS}" too?

For the volume-operating-system definition, just use ${OPSYS}?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

I'd like to close this PR.
