and .work.log (which i just discovered) has this

[*] /usr/obj/pkgsrc/sysutils/findutils/work.lazy/.buildlink/bin/cc -E
-I/usr/pkg/include conftest.c
<.> /usr/obj/pkgsrc/sysutils/findutils/work.lazy/.sunpro/bin/cc -E -E
-I/usr/obj/pkgsrc/sysutils/findutils/work.lazy/.buildlink/include
conftest.c

so I hack mk/compiler/sunpro.mk to remove the -E from PKG_CPP=
${_SUNPRO_CC} and all is well again. But, how to do this correctly?

Cheers,
   C.
