I've created a small patch for mpg123 0.59r to compile on IRIX 5.3. It
nicely applies to pkgsrc's version (after bmake configure and before
compiling). It's available at http://geos.maxsyncron.com/059rdiff. It
should automatically detect on compile time which IRIX audio libs are
used. It does not affect other platforms since it only patches the
mpg123 driver for IRIX.
What's NetBSD pkgsrc's policy on incorporating such patches to support
further platforms (i.e. whom should I talk to; this is still somewhat
confusing to me...)?
