Let me bring this up again...
the bootstrap code checks that /var/db/pkg is on a UFS/FFS
partition (or at least is Capitalization aware).

I can find no conflicts with file names in this dir on
any BSD machine I have:
 find /var/db/pkg |tr A-Z a-z|sort |uniq -c|sort -n

each has 1 entry.

Can bootstrap lighten up?
