More info ..

Under BSD/OS I get:
 Checking for optional libraries...
What libraries to use? [-lutil -lbind -ldl -lm -lc -liconv]
What optimizer/debugger flag should be used? [-O2 -I/usr/pkg/include]

Under NetBSD I get:
 Checking for optional libraries...
What libraries to use? [-lm -lcrypt]
What optimizer/debugger flag should be used? [-O2 -I/usr/pkg/include]

Any perl building gurus understand how this detects for "What libraries to
use?"

(Again, it should not have detected and assumed libiconv, since it breaks
later since it can't see it it since it is not buildlinked. I don't know
why this worked fine two months ago ...)
