I see that e2fsprogs installs libext2fs.info but no development
files or libraries.

The libs are built with --enable-elf-shlibs.

They installed with "make install-libs"

Does anyone use the info document?

I guess that either the info document should not be installed or the
include files and libraries should be installed.
