So I finally upgraded my 1.4.2 box to 1.6.1, and now have to replace
the services it handled.  One of those was news.  Well not really,
I stopped reading news years ago, but I feed mailing lists I subscribe
to into /var/spool/news (using a simple mail2news gateway) and I used
to have NN's nnmaster keep track of it all.

When I installed the nn-6.4.4 package though, it doesn't include
nnmaster at all, and nn seems to insist on having an NNTP server to
talk to - ick.

So, can anyone identify a package that can allow for local reading of
/var/spool/news - with minimal overhead?
