Sorry, I don't have a fix for you.

But I installed gnucash from pkgsrc for my wife ten days ago. It seems to
work fine (other than we are trying to learn how to use it).

It is gnucash-1.8.1nb3.

My libtool is libtool-base-1.4.20010614nb14
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4a (1.641.2.255 2001/05/22 10:39:30)

This is under NetBSD/i386 1.6 (with many patches).

(By the way, I packaged gnucash-docs; it is in pkgsrc-wip.)

p.s. Does anyone know of some good documentation about setting up a
business profit/loss statement using gnucach? I found an old
documentation, but it seems out-of-date.
