Okay, it seems that dc-gui is not using the kde font settings and is instead
using a very disgusting and large font. Could this be an 'install' issue or
does dc-gui do this everywhere?

Also, I forgot to show you exactly what _was_ installed:

[root@gimp /usr/pkgsrc/net/dcgui-qt] cat PLIST
@comment $NetBSD$
bin/dcgui-qt
share/kde/dcgui/emoticons/emotes.xml
share/kde/dcgui/emoticons/emoticons.xpm
@dirrm share/kde/dcgui/emoticons
@dirrm share/kde/dcgui

Those are the only things successfully installed by 'make install'
