The FSF config.sub (as of a pretty decent time ago) has pretty much all the
NetBSD defns already in place.

Perl doesn't use config.sub (or autoconf).  Try again.  <g>

I've used "--host=sparc-sun-solaris2" for ages -- "solaris2" is, indeed, a
proper GNU canonical name for SunOS 5.x (for any "x").  bsd.pkg.mk should
adopt that name.
