Although I now get phoenix to build on my current system, it refuses
to run.

It complains

I have the same problem with mozilla (hardly surprising).

Not able to browse on that machine sucks somewhat.  I hope it's
something obvious that I'm missing, although I'm at loss as to what it
could be.
