Subject: Why make index in pkgsrc takes so long ?

I'm running make index in my pkgsrc tree for 1 week, now !

And there's only 2/3 of the packages indexed, most of this time has been
spend (and it's not over!) on the hairy gnome stuff :

[xavier@arnor pkgsrc]$ tail -5 /usr/pkgsrc/INDEX
vat-4.0b2|/usr/pkgsrc/mbone/vat|/usr/pkg|The Visual Audio Tool - ...
vic-2.8|/usr/pkgsrc/mbone/vic|/usr/pkg|MBONE video conferencing tool...
edesktop-1.0nb1|/usr/pkgsrc/meta-pkgs/edesktop|/usr/pkg|provides a ...
fxtv-capture-1.0|/usr/pkgsrc/meta-pkgs/fxtv-capture|/usr/pkg...
gnome-1.4.2|/usr/pkgsrc/meta-pkgs/gnome|/usr/pkg|meta-package for ...

[xavier@arnor pkgsrc]$ wc -l INDEX
    1914 INDEX

I know my box is a powerful P200; but does it take *that* long ?

Thanks,
