we use it for http://cvs.silcnet.org. it's quite similar to bsdweb but
simpler. it doesn't necessarily need to be used for kernel trees.

go for it, i'd like to see it in the pkgsrc but i am not in any special
need for it so i haven't done that myself as it has very low priority
for me.
