Hi,

after fixing ntop2 I started it and got this message:

02/Aug/2002 16:38:55 Initializing GDBM...
02/Aug/2002 16:38:55 Database '/usr/pkg/var/ntop/addressCache.db' open failed: File open error
02/Aug/2002 16:38:55 Possible solution: please use '-P <directory>'

Because that directory doesn't exists.

Now I also have this files in my current directory:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 49152 Aug 2 16:39 addressCache.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 49152 Aug 2 16:39 dnsCache.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 49152 Aug 2 16:39 hostsInfo.db
-rw------- 1 root wheel 7 Aug 2 16:39 intop_history
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 49152 Aug 2 16:39 ntop_pw.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 49152 Aug 2 16:39 prefsCache.db

Where I guess the intop_history file comes from runing intop.

It would be easy to create /usr/pkg/var/ntop, but /usr/pkg/var doesn't sounds
so good, IMHO it should be something like /var/pkg/ntop.

Any ideas?

Bernd
