Have you find a reason for your problem? I ask this because it seems that
we have similar problems. ogle compiled fine on my system, but I'm not
able to play any DVD. As a user I get an error message regarding the
permissions of my DVD drive:
libdvdread: Can't open /dev/rcd0d for reading.

This can be fixed, so that's not a real problem. When I start ogle as toor
I get the following:
libdvdcss debug: GetASF not authenticated (ASF=0)
libdvdcss debug: requesting AGID

and so my whole system freezes for about 90 seconds. After this:
libdvdcss error: ioctl_SendChallenge failed
libdvdcss debug: fatal error in CSS Init
libdvdread: Can't open /dev/rcd0d for reading.
vm: faild to open/read the DVD

In the dmesg output I can see the following at the end after one try to
start ogle as toor:
cd0(pciide0:1:0): Check Condition on CDB: 0xa3 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10

Any ideas, what I can try?
