Okay I'll look at that later.

I am not sure what you mean. I have both ogle and ogle_gui packages
installed. I run the command "ogle" as included in the ogle package. It
gives me a GUI. Okay, I see ogle is a shell script.

I unistalled ogle_gui and started ogle. After a few seconds, my screen
flashed and then ogle exited. Some of the messages:

Note[ogle_vout]: Display w: 347, h: 260, hp: 1024, vp: 768
Note[ogle_vout]: Display sar: 266240/266496 = 0.999039
FATAL[ogle_vout]: display_init_xshm
shmget: Cannot allocate memory
Debug[ogle_ctrl]: pid: 26693 exited with status: 1

How much memory do I need?

$ free  # parses vmstat -s
             total       used       free    buffers
Mem:        126072     110332      15740          0
Swap:       197564     148672      4889

top(1) says:
Memory: 69M Act, 18M Inact, 376K Wired, 15M Free, 145M Swp, 48M Swp free
