The executable was stripped, so I found it to be less than informative.

Yup - got a lot of addresses back.

I was running a relatively old version of 1.5ZA - I've upgraded.
I also found the spot in the mk.conf where I should have specified
that I wanted XFree86 4.2 built.

That helped a lot.

Now, the only problem I have with it is that the program dumps core
for anyone but root that tries to run it.  I've been recompiling
it since Sunday, so I hope to be able to test it again tonight.
I'm thinking there might have been a bad library reference in there
