It appears that the qt2-libs package installs itself in /usr/X11R6/qt2
even when xpkgwedge is installed.  This causes some later qt2 packages
(e.g., qt2-designer-kde) to fail, because they cannot find the
location of qt2 libraries.

What needs changing in qt2-libs to make it obey the dictates of
xpkgwedge?
