Tested in what sense? Apart from a minor botch or two in the Solaris X11
config files that have made it untouched from Solaris 7 to 8, I did not see
any X11 related problems so far. Does building xemacs qualify as test here?

Never mind. ;)

If this "x11-links" thing is the way to go (any docs out there? What ships
with the package is a bit terse), how difficult would it be to add Sun
'/usr/openwin' support?

Or, on the other hand, how would I short circuit the x11-links thing for a
given package?
