With pretty much up-to-date pkgsrc (within the past day), i'm now
getting errors looking like the following for several packages:

===> Patching for xli-1.16nb1
===> Configuring for xli-1.16nb1
Linking zlib files into /usr/pkgobj/graphics/xli/work.i386/.buildlink.
Linking png files into /usr/pkgobj/graphics/xli/work.i386/.buildlink.
usage:  /usr/X11R6/bin/xmkmf [-a] [top_of_sources_pathname
[current_directory]]
*** Error code 1

Stop.

I've seen this with both graphics/xli and audio/xmcd.

Any idea what exploded and how to fix it?
